Brevard County and the Space Coast aren't just where Debbie Strawhand works — they're home. She and her family moved to Satellite Beach in 2014, drawn by coastal living and a strong sense of community, after roots in North Carolina and nearly two decades in Atlanta.

Debbie started her real estate career in 2017, bringing a background that still shapes how she works. She holds a B.S. in Geology from Georgia State University and spent years as a Client Manager in the environmental industry — work that built the organization, communication, and problem-solving skills her clients rely on today.

She now helps buyers, sellers, investors, and small business owners across both residential and commercial real estate on the Space Coast and throughout Central Florida. As a member of Avanti Way Realty, a technology-driven brokerage, Debbie is known for being responsive, detail-oriented, and communicative. Whether she's pricing and negotiating for sellers or helping buyers find the right home at the right value, her goal is the same: keep every transaction smooth, transparent, and well-organized.

Outside of real estate, Debbie is active in the community she serves. She holds a leadership role with Saint Stephen's Way, a local nonprofit that provides safe, affordable housing and support for families who have experienced homelessness, where she leads fundraising and awareness efforts. She believes stable housing is foundational to everything else.

When she's not working, Debbie enjoys boating with her husband Fred, catching up with friends at local restaurants and events, and watching her daughter Olivia begin her career after college. The household also includes a Chiweenie named Tito, a cat named Nacho, and the newest addition — Tucker, a mini dachshund who keeps everyone on their toes. Debbie often says moving to Satellite Beach was one of the best decisions her family ever made.
